This Thursday night sees the last of our pool training sessions for this year, with a return on Thursday the 8th Jan. The monthly club meeting will be held on the same night. A reminder also to everyone that club fees are now due. A number of members will be taking part in the annual Christmas day swim at Youghal Quay which attracted a large turn out last year. The first swimmers are expected in the water by 11am, hot drinks will be available and well earned. Best of luck to all concerned and those not swimming are encouraged to dig deep and support the worthy causes that are benefiting. Remember we were a beneficiary last year. Lectures were given last week on Dive equipment and Introduction to Dive physics. This Thursday the lectures will be on Decompression and Out of Air, for those who want to read in advance those chapters and have lots of questions ready for Eugene. We are still looking for a new club logo reflecting how Lough Derg got it's name, so get the kids colouring crayons and get artistic! A Very Happy Christmas to everyone!
